Kiln-fired at high temperatures of 2300°F, Kraus proprietary fine fireclay blend boasts a dense composition that makes this sink incredibly durable and highly resistant to impact and thermal shock. Unlike competitor sinks made from coarse grain material full of impurities, ultra-fine high grade Kraus fireclay allows for a perfectly even finish that is not susceptible to cracking or crazing. Featuring solid core construction, Turino™ Series sinks are extremely sturdy and easily stand up to heavy use, unlike many competitor sinks with a hollow core. Each sink is finished with an extra-thick layer of luxuriously glossy enamel glaze that is resistant to scratches and stains, and will not yellow or fade over time.
